Non Objective Painting, Contemporary Art “Guided Focus” by International Abstract Artist Arrachme

What was I thinking? This painting is all about techniques of translucency using cold wax and oil. I was intentionally guiding my focus between values and bold contrasts of color.

14"x11" Oil , cold wax, resin on board.

Non Objective Painting, Contemporary Art “Scorched Earth” by International Abstract Artist Arrachme

Materials- Layered, mixed media, oil, cold wax, and textured resin on board.

What was I thinking? -I was influenced by how mother nature self corrects with a forest fire. What seems initially as a devastating act ends up being necessary for continued life.

14"x11" Oil on smooth prime cotton on board.
